This image shows the town and harbor at Puerto la Cruz, Venezuela. We can see some boats and the oil tanks. Puerto la Cruz is at the Caribbean Sea and famous for its oil shipment. Some oil slick is shown on the sea. Near the oil tank, many pipe lines are routed as indicated in the lower images. These images were taken by ASNARO-1 on February 22, 2017 and processed for web display use. We can distinguish the oil slick near the seashore. In the left image, it is indicated dark blue area and in the right image, red highlight area. It spread over few kilometers on the sea. 産総研では現在、世界中のランドサット画像を使ったモザイクが可能になったのですが、 今日はアラブ首長国連邦（UAE）を見てみました。 色調はQGISで調整しました。 1枚目は国土全体。アラビア半島の東部にある国です。 同じような季節（7月ごろ）、雲はほとんどないはずなのですが、画像同士の境目がなぜかわかりやすいですね。 2枚目はUAEで最も有名な都市、ドバイです。人工島がすごいですね。 3枚目は砂漠の雲のように見えるところ（右から3列目の中央付近）ですが、町らしきものがありますね。 それにしても青いラインは何なのでしょうか。石油のパイプラインでしょうか？ 4枚目も砂漠の筋雲のように見えるところ（右から2列目の下方）ですが、雲ではなく写真のような地形でした。 何なのでしょうね。左下に見える青いものは空港でしょうか。 すべてトゥルーカラーで、2～4枚目は1枚目を拡大したものです。 ※本記事は、産業技術総合研究所様の許可の上、以下から転載しています。
